Yarn: Peruvian Tweed, Color #113 (brown and grey), double stranded (Sorry I don’t remember how many hanks I used!)
Needle: (Again, sorry, don’t remember!)
Gauge: (Didn’t measure)
This was gift for my grandma, who lives in Nebraska. It is super warm and soft, almost like a blanket, so it should do a good job keeping her warm during the cold winters there. This yarn, by the way, is AMAZING! It’s 100% superfine alpaca, and the colors are really beautiful - pics don’t do it justice.

Hello,
I just came accross your site showing the entrelac shawl or stole. I’ve been looking for someone who has made this. I’ve made the entrelac bags but really wanted to make something to throw on the back of my couch for winter (I live in Minnesota). Your pictures are beautiful. My questions are: 1) Doy ou think any type of wool yarn is suitable for this technique? I’m not really fond of the Nori- it gets too thin in some places. 2) Did you do this by a pattern or did you figure this out on your own? I’m wondering if I could adapt the bag pattern somehow to arrive at a flat (non-round) version of the technique, to avoid spending any more money on patterns.
Any help or advise you have for me would be appreciated.

Nancy, I sent you an email, too, but for anyone else who is curious - the link to the pattern book is above. I don’t have any other experience with entrelac, but I assume if you already know how to do it, you could figure out how to make this stole pretty easily. And I didn’t use the yarn called for in the pattern, so I say use whatever yarn suits your taste! This is a great wrap/blanket, I may make another one in the future for myself…
