Congratulations on your first finished sock! How do you feel about socks now?

Er, I admire your perseverance with knitting. I, myself, am not that way. Minor mistakes get left in, or the project gets frogged and started over if the mistake is big enough or if I am in a certain mood. I don't usually swatch or block (I really don't understand how to block anything that doesn't need to be stretched out to a bigger size. I can block lace well, because it's just a matter of stretching, but how to block a sweater which is already the correct size is beoynd me, because the stitches don't change unless I stretch the thing, dammit.). I will often use my way even if it's wrong, rather than learn a dfferent way. For example, I had a pattern recently that was using k3tog and, on the opposite side, sssp for symmetry. I did not bother to learn how to do that, but rather p3tog the whole way through.

Don't know about your TV show, no familiar with it over here in Australia, Bugger! Love the sock, you are braver than me. The wool is beautiful too. Clever girl. Persistence does pay off. It's the only way I get some sleep. I have to fix things, nake 'em right before I got to bed, otherwise the problem becomes bigger and more exaggerated in my head and keeps me awake think of how to fix things. If at first we don't succeed, keep trying...as for glue. I already super glued myself to a vase once, I've never touched the stuff since....(no one had told me how to disolve the stuff, I had to find out the hard way with both hands stuck to this vase..Funny for any flies on the wall watching me though. It was similar with wood stain, so one told me to use rubber gloves and I used a sponge for an even finish...yep, brown stained hands up to my wrists and everyone I had to give and receive money from noticed it...but I have learned from these couple of disasters...I could go on, but I think I've amused you enough for this time.
