Last Sunday
My grandfather, John B., passed away last weekend at the age of 89. I spent last week with my family in my hometown in Nebraska - this picture was taken at the garage he owned and operated for most of his life. John went to work (or gossip) there every day of the week except Sundays, right up until the last few weeks before he died. He was a unique man, and will be remembered fondly by many.

89 years old, a good innings. There are many who never make it to that age and he obviously had many family and friends to share his life and memories with. He died a rich man having more than so many.
My condolences. He’s still gossiping where ever he is you know!

I am so sorry to hear about your granddad. He sounds like a good man wth a full life. Mine passed away last fall at the age of 92. I miss him terribly.
